JAMIE QUILISADIO

Always tactile and creative, Jamie began dissembling and reconstructing jewelry as a hobby, which evolved into a flourishing trade.

She created pieces for friends and colleagues, then eventually earned a jewelry production job with Manhattan based company Chibi. There she acquainted herself with industry standards, but had the desire to branch out. While selling her designs at markets and pop-up events, Jamie began working for Brooklyn Charm, a custom jewelry shop in Williamsburg, BK. In order to understand the multifaceted world of jewelry, she took a position in NYC’s diamond district, cultivating an entirely new skill set that included metal work and assembling grills for clients.

Jamie’s hands-on approach and vast knowledge of gems, technique, and manufacturing caught the attention of global brands including SEKIDO, based in Japan where she was sent to work in 2013 and 2017. Jamie’s pieces have also been sold through Urban Outfitters among several retailers in the U.S.

Jamie ricocheted between companies in Brooklyn, including Catbird and Wwake, and hosted a monthly jewelry making workshop at SoHo House. Then in 2019 exhausted from the workforce, but still enamored with jewelry, it was time to make a change.

Now, with sharp intuition, a brain for business and 10+ years experience, Jamie transformed her side-hustle into a full-time one woman show. Each piece is hand-made, with true grit and love.
